Top 5 Highlighters

Hi Guys & Dolls,
So I’ve been missing for a while. I’ve been busy painting all of the faces in the land & also travelling the world! Not a bad complaint. So I’m back with a short little piece on my favourite highlighters. I am highlight obsessed & I am always on the hunt for a bigger, brighter & glowier highlight……hoping that someday i’ll be seen from space!
Here goes my Top 5…..
No 1- Becca “Champagne Pop”
So Becca is an American brand. I tried out this highlighter a couple of years ago for the first time & I instantly fell in love. Becca has a range of different highlighters but the shade “Champagne Pop” is the one I fell for. It is such a gorgeous golden peachy tone, suitable for most skin tones. I also fell in love with the liquid version. I often mix it in with my foundation or buff it on top to give that extra glow to my life.
Now it was always a little hard to buy as it was an American brand, but now fortunately for us it is for sale in a store in Dublin on Grafton St. ‘ Space NK’.
Retails at €35
No 2- INGLOT HD Highlighters
So straight in at no 2 is INGLOT. INGLOT launched these gorgeous highlighters earlier this year & I instantly fell in love. They come in a variety of 4 shades & also have HD particles which airbrush the skin. My favourite combo of shades are #151 & #153 mixed together! They are super affordable as they only retail at €10 each. Definitely a must have for a makeup artists kit.

No 3- Anastasia Beverly Hills
“SUN DIPPED GLOW KIT”
So this Highlighter Palette definitely has to be my No 3! The palette has 4 different shades in it & and is gorgeous on tanned skin. These highlighters are really finely milled & sit on the skin so gorgeously. The Kit works really well on the eye also, so a nice little multi use product. The Glow kit retails at $40 US, which initially I thought was a little pricey but honestly a little goes a long way. Now lucky for us this palette is available in Ireland & the UK on Beauty Bay, so you don’t have to pay any smelly customs.

No 4- Cover Fx Custom Drops
Now these are what I call drops of heaven. I am literally obsessed, I think everybody needs them in their lives. They are liquid highlighting drops. The drops can be worn under makeup, mixed in with makeup or if your serious about the glow life like me, then you can wear them over your makeup. The shade I’m currently using is “Sunlight” and I would bathe in it if I could. Again these can be bought in any Sephora store in the states, but Beauty Bay online also sell them for €34.10 which is actually cheaper than in the US.

No 5- MAKEUP REVOLUTION
Strobe Highlighter
Last but not least, Strobe Highlighter in shade “Moon Glow Lights” This highlighter is bomb.com I got this highlighter as a present & was excited to try it out and absolutely loved it. I then found out afterwards how affordable it was & fell in love even more. It retails at around €6 I believe & can be bought in Pharmacies around Ireland & in Superdrug.
